I am a big fan of using tools to help in development. Mind Mapping is considered one of the best tools to help you.
This video is very good as it show you how to use mind mapping to get as much as you can from reading. I hadn’t really thought about it in that way so it was great to see.

I was introduced to mindmapping at a project management course. First, the trainer asked each of us to prepare a 5 minute talk on the subject of “Time”. We had 5 minutes to prepare. It didn’t go so well. Then he taught us mind mapping and we repeated the experiment. The ideas just flowed out onto the paper and we had a great talk prepared in 2 minutes. Since then, I use mind-mapping all the time.

Thanks for your comment. That’s great to hear a practical demo of mindmapping. I use it often with clients when working out their new customer handling process. Works great because it visual and textual.
By the way I think I saw an interesting comment you made on Steve Pavlina’s site…about heaven. Interesting thoughts.
