Clement Stone

Profile

Stone himself was born in Chicago and was just three when his father died. He began his business career at age six, when he started selling newspapers to help support himself and his mother. At age 16, he journeyed to Detroit to help out his mother at an insurance company she’d opened there. Soon, he was making $100 a week selling casualty insurance. Stone was soon a prime example of a character right out of the Horatio Alger stories, in which poor boys make good. Above all, Stone emphasized using a “positive mental attitude” to make money for him and for millions of people who read his books. In 1960, Stone teamed up with Napoleon Hill to author Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude. The two also founded a monthly digest magazine, entitled Success Unlimited. Two years later, Stone, by himself, wrote the Success System That Never Fails, in which he told his secrets to becoming wealthy and having a healthy, productive lifestyle. In 1964, he and Norma Lee Brown collaborated on writing The Other Side of the Mind.

Believe and Achieve

Matt says – So I have to admit I actually couldn’t get past the first 3 or so chapters when I first started to read this book.  Why? Well Clement Stone is a straight talking type guy and his messages are very powerful and deep.  I think when I first picked up this book I wasn’t really ready for such hard hitting, deep impact stuff!  The copy I had was small but so was the writing so it made me feel like like I was hardly making any progress.

How do I feel about it now?  I think its a MUST read, just a MUST read book.  If you have come to this site to find books and information that really can have a positive impact then this book is it!  The book is based around Clement Stone’s 17 Principles of Success and really is a blueprint of how to be successful at ANYTHING in life.  if you were to keep reading this book over and over (and apply all he suggests) then I am pretty certain you would find high achivement in whatever you put your mind to.

This book was instrumental in turning my life around and it could do the same for you.

To sum up –One of the orriginals, one of the best and simply a must buy.
